Psigryph Inc. is redefining the way we deliver bioactive molecules across the cell membrane. Our patent-pending Nanopect™ nanodelivery system can transport large numbers of molecules across cell membranes of plants, animals and humans increasing bioavailability many fold. Psigryph Inc. was founded in 2018 and identified product opportunities in many industries such as Food and Beverage, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical and Cannabis. Our plant-derived nanostructures and food powders have been researched extensively in the lab and are ready to enter the market. We seek collaborations with other innovative and industry leading companies to provide our technology to improve the health of Humans, Animals and the Environment.

Nanopect™ has a unique ability to deliver bioactive molecules to living cells.  These biomolecules include nutrients, cannabinoids, pharmaceuticals and other biologically important actives. Hence, Nanopect™ technology may be deployed in numerous settings to efficiently deliver an active agent. Nanopect™ is derived from Montmorency sour cherries grown in the Province of Ontario and adjacent Great Lakes States. Montmorency cherries are high in polyphenols and have been reported by many groups to offer multiple benefits to support healthy living.

Nanoparticle

Psigryph’s Nanopect™ platform technology that can be developed to deliver a myriad of nutrients efficiently into cells. We envision developing consumer products using this technology to offer the market other products that could:

  • Be anti-inflammatory

  • Deliver vitamins

  • Deliver minerals

and possibly many more specific nutrients for different customer segments.

Nanofibre

Psigryph’s nanofibres are a platform technology that can be developed to deliver a myriad of insoluble molecules efficiently into cells.  Nanofibres have demonstrated the ability to deliver anti-cancer agents such as paclitaxel and vincristine to drug-resistant cancer cells. The result is a highly efficient destruction of these difficult to treat (known as MDR) cancer cells. 

This has potentially profound implications for the treatment of cancer and perhaps other diseases.  If this characteristic can be shown to be generalizable, then there would be many companies with insoluble molecules that could benefit from this technology.

SlimLiiv™: Phytonutrient Food Powder

The first product of the company is commercialization-ready stage SlimLiiv™, a food powder that demonstrated weight control potential in three studies.  SlimLiiv™ powder further demonstrates anti-inflammatory, cholesterol-lowering and anti-cancer effects when added to the standard diet in lab trials.  This asset can be marketed in the near term in the weight loss category and can be further refined to create a family of consumer products targeted at various health categories focused on prevention.  There is strong and growing demand from consumers for safe and effective products they can purchase to take control of their health.
